It can be very stressful for both the parents, especially mothers who have recently given birth to a preemie. A preemie is a baby who is delivered earlier before the term of a pregnancy is completed. The baby who could have stayed in the mother’s womb for further development, due to some complications had to be delivered early. Thus, the baby is said to be prematurely born. The term pre-mature has been shortened to be used as a preemie. A preemie baby is of course not developed completely; be it physically or mentally. They need an extra care and lots of extra love.
